Trees and Rain, LLC wants everyone to be able to use treesandrain.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. To work toward that, this site:
- uses semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and page landmarks,
- can be used entirely with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator,
- meets WCAG color contrast ratios for text and controls,
- reflows to a single column down to 320 pixels wide and supports browser zoom and custom text spacing,
- has no autoplaying media, flashing content, or time limits.
We check the site with automated testing tools and by hand, including keyboard-only use, whenever we make significant changes.
